Preparations...

The hosts for the 2005/06 season are excitedly packing, unpacking and then re-packing their snowboard bags in anticipation, ready for the off!

The hosts for the forthcoming season (Alex and Jethro) will be in Fernie for the annual job fair, which falls on the weekend of October 22nd/23rd.

First of all, they'll be spending a couple of nights soaking up the atmosphere down in Vancouver.

Snow Valley Lodge itself is also getting ready for the season ahead, and Fernie had a good covering of snow in recent weeks.
Unfortunately, this has all melted now, but the resort team are completing the final alterations to the mountain before the first big snowfalls of the season come to the area.

The clock is ticking... Not long to go now.
